The RM of Hanover's Community Safety Officers are available during regular office hours, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The RM of Hanover is committed to promoting safe, respectful, and well-maintained communities through the enforcement of municipal by-laws established by Council. These by-laws are in place for the benefit and safety of all residents, and the RM strives to deliver a fair, firm, and friendly approach to compliance and enforcement.

Our Community Safety Officer works throughout the municipality to educate residents, respond to concerns, investigate complaints, and help ensure municipal by-laws are followed. The Community Safety Officer often works closely with local police services, as well as provincial and federal authorities, to address community safety matters.

Complaints related to the Highway Traffic Act are enforced by your local RCMP detachment, along with matters governed under other provincial legislation and statutes.
